Legion Oil & Gas LLC has recently purchased 750 tons of a high quality paraffin slack wax from Turkmenistan commodity exchange for May-July 2022 loadings. Another Turkmen product recently sourced by Legion Oil & Gas LLC was base oil SN 350.
Slack wax from Turkmenbashi refinery is a product of a light colour, with kinematic viscosity of 4-5 and oil content typically below 10%.
This product is used in candles, insulation materials, wax paper, polishes, cosmetics, and many other applications. Slack wax needs to be de-oiled, hydrotreated or bleached to become white and less soft paraffin.
Paraffin wax is in high demand at the moment because of the current supply issues from Russia and Belarus. Legion Oil & Gas LLC can deliver paraffin wax to many regions in rail tanks, trucks and iso-tanks.
