The Growth Champions 2024 were identified by research partner Statista GmbH on behalf of FOCUS. FOCUS is the German financial and career magazine. For more than 20 years FOCUS editorial team has been posting renowned lists that honor leading experts in their respective fields. The Growth Champions are a list of the top 500 companies in Germany that achieved high percentage revenue growth between 2018 and 2021.
In order to qualify, companies were required to meet specific criteria, including:
- Achieving a minimum turnover of €100,000 in 2018 and witnessing remarkable growth, with a minimum of €1.8 million in turnover by 2021.
- Maintaining their headquarters within Germany.
- Demonstrating sustained organic growth.
- Operating as an independent enterprise.
From an extensive pool of two million companies listed in the commercial register, only 12,000 entities exhibiting significant employee or turnover growth were selected and extended invitations to participate.
The 500 fastest-growing companies in 21 sectors were selected from a total of 1503 companies.
