Since beginning 2024 Legion Oil & Gas LLC started new loadings of refined base oil N100 produced at Tayras Base Oil Refinery, locating in Turkey. Tayras` Used Lube Oil Refinery’s processes 60 000 tons used lubricating oil per year and 45 000 tons of Group II Base Oil. Having built first Group II Base Oil Refinery, they became a technology leader in Turkey.
We are glad to have another product in our portfolio that strengthens our base of sustainable resources, thereby we encourage zero waste principle and provide the base oils with low carbon footprint.
Light Base Oil N100 is a high purity Group II and paraffinic base oil which is produced by hydrotreatment process. TIDRABASE N100, a light base oil, surpasses the API Group II base oil standard in terms of properties and has lower than 50% lower carbon footprint than base oils.
Among N100 main properties are:
- Transparent
- No smell
- Low volatility
- High viscosity index
- Minimal Sulfur Concentration
- High oxidation Resistance
Light Base Oil N100 is good suitable for high-performance engine oils, transmission fluids, hydraulic oils, metalworking oils, heat transfer oils, and special process oils.

Within the last year, Legion Oil & Gas LLC has also started to purchase Group I and Group II of recycled base oils from Yunitco, one of the biggest manufacturers in Saudi Arabia specializing in recycling lubricating oils to produce base oil.
Ramoil, Avista, Puraglobe are another reliable refineries of regenerated base oils (for example KS 100 and KS 150) with whom Legion Oil & Gas LLC has recently established partnerships.
